Design Thinking at DTV
In 2014 I moved from UX to Directv's Design Thinking Team to work on research and product innovation. Our design methodology has taken its DNA from Standford and IDEO. We used a 360° customer-centric approach to investigate our product eco-system. This involved the entire customer experience, from the first moment they interact with our product ( via web or phone), to delivery ( physical packaging), and finally the interaction with video contents on screen. We often go out to customers' home to conduct field research to gain empathy. Our charge is to think beyond the entertainment system and innovate for DirecTV's future product line. Below is a documentation of our process.
